• Conduct extensive value-oriented research in order to purchase securities at a significant discount ABE’s estimate of fair value and sell securities that are priced at a premium to intrinsic value.
• Allocate capital across asset classes
• Create a diversified basket of long-term investment opportunities with flexibility to hedge portfolio-specific or broader macroeconomic risks
• Seek special situation investment opportunities where counterparties to the transactions are likely to be driven by mechanical selling for non-economic reasons or due to short-term excessive sentiment.
